Since the inception of New Rural Cooperative Medical System, the difficulties of seeing a doctor facing peasants have been practically reversed.
New Rural Cooperative Medical System is organized by the Government and the government lead and support the farmers to take part in the system. With the development of New Rural Cooperative Medical System, the difficulties of seeing a doctor and the expensive medical care have been effectively solved. Now, the New Rural Cooperative Medical System has covered the agricultural person in the four counties and three districts of Qinhuangdao. 1.799 million peasants have been taken part in the new rural cooperative medical system and the rate of joining the system has reached 90.17%.
